Siyoteam SY-269 memory card sim card usb reader
Utilizes MA-8128 Chipset
So what it does is basically as a reader/writer storage devices only, which includes an array of flash memory cards and the difference being, the inclusion of SIM card read/write feature.

The GSM Reader application on the mini CD-ROM that came with the package is obsolete, however.

  • Supports: Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista, Linux kernel 2.4+, Mac OS X or newer
  • Support Micro TF/SDHC/SD/miniSD/RS-MMC/MINI SDHC/MMCmobile/MMC/MMC Plus/microSD
  • Draw power directly from USB Port (500mA)
  • Plug & play as any modern USB devices
  • Included CD-ROM driver did not support Windows 7 although with the right software, it works without serious issues

Take note that I am no longer using it after that time I used it to transfer contacts off the SIM card - which happened to be the only reason I bought it.

IT CANNOT...
  • Connect to the internet (THIS IS NOT A BROADBAND MODEM!!!)

  • Alter network SIM data

  • It cannot duplicate your SIM card. So don't come asking can I have identical SIM card active in two different phones. This won't help you to do that.

the driver that came with the installation disc can save phone book contacts to .xls and other formats also, but this is limited to .txt format so could u send me that driver .,,plzz

i can't connet my sim card becox the software is just showing the page again n again that is :proccesing.........??note em using this soft at my win 7... is it compatible issue??

Im also having the same issue as Sharry, stares processing but nothing further appears. Am I doing something wrong or in the incorrect sequence.

GSIMReader v1.0.7.2 worked fine with Windows 7 32-bit version, but it doesn't work with the 64-bit version even if I switch off driver authentication.
